Accounting Manager Virtual Assistant

The Accounting Manager Virtual Assistant assist the accounting department functions with a focus on ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reporting. The Accounting Manager Virtual Assistant generally have several direct reports and work to allocate tasks evenly across the team. The Accounting Manager Virtual Assistant is responsible for driving team performance and getting the most out of individual contributors. The Accounting Manager Virtual Assistant is responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. The Accounting Manager Virtual Assistant, under the immediate supervision of the Accounting Manager, provides superior quality, competitive value, and outstanding service and is primarily concerned with analysis of accounting records and internal control over financial information.

Accounting Manager Virtual Assistant Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.
• Ensure that accounting policies and procedures are developed, maintained and updated in accordance with accounting system.
• Guarantee that policies and procedures are properly documented and maintained in a clear and concise manner.
• Certify that policy/procedural changes are clearly communicated to appropriate areas on a proactive and timely basis.
• Responsible for monitoring emerging accounting issues and standards.
• Proactive monitoring of all emerging issues.
• Assist to accounting manager with administrative task.

Accounting Manager Virtual Assistant Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Solid experience in accounting or related experience.
• Strong Managerial-Supervisory experience.
• Excellent computer/technical: Proficient in advanced spreadsheet applications such as Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.
• Experience with accounting topics and auditing standards.
