Superintendent and Foreperson Assistant Project

The Superintendent and Foreperson Assistant Project is responsible for assisting the project superintendent to supervise the field constriction of a project and to complete the work on schedule, within the budget, and to the quality of workmanship specified. The Superintendent and Foreperson Assistant Project will assist in construction mobilization duties and prepare a site logistics plan, develop and implement a site-specific safety plan. The Superintendent and Foreperson Assistant Project will review the job cost budget and read all subcontractor agreements, prepare, and maintain a punch list. The Superintendent and Foreperson Assistant Project must be able to develop and maintain good relationships internally and externally.

Superintendent and Foreperson Assistant Project Responsibilities:

• Must be committed to providing and promoting a safe work environment
• Ability to calculate materials necessities.
• Willingness to perform administrative duties such as timecard review and approval, progress postings (daily quantities) and keep a field journal.
• Assume full responsibility for the safe operation and maintenance of a company vehicle, equipment, and tools.
• Ability to positively represent the organization to customers and the communities in which they work.

Procurement and Logistic Manager Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from college or technical school.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Possess leadership qualities to effectively supervise and motivate a working field crew.
• Enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather and have the desire to actively participate in physically demanding work lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Demonstrated skills in management and economics (including personnel relations and budget analysis).
• Must have solid verbal and written communication skills.Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with others in a team environment.
