Responsibilities
As the Commissions Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in processing commission payments and maintaining accurate financial records. Your responsibilities will include:
- Learn and master the use of a specialized software program called Brandwise/MarketTime to process invoices and payments seamlessly.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to manipulate and prepare statements for commission processing, ensuring accuracy and precision in all financial transactions.
- Enter relevant information into QuickBooks, maintaining a meticulous record of commission-related financial data.
- When issues and discrepancies are found, you must be able to use your knowledge base in finance and the process to find the appropriate resolution.
Skills
- Demonstrate a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in commission processing and financial statements.
- Proficient in data entry techniques to maintain efficiency in processing large volumes of information.
- Advanced skills in Excel for effective manipulation and preparation of commission-related statements.
- Familiarity with communication tools like Outlook and Teams for streamlined collaboration within the team.
- A foundational understanding of bookkeeping principles to support accurate financial record-keeping.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business is preferred but not required.
- A track record of successfully working with data entry and financial information, preferably in a wholesale or similar industry.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with team members.
